A huge congratulations to all the students who participated in the 2023 Parliament Prize!
Each year, the Parliament of Victoria asks students across the state, from Grade 5 to Year 12, to share what they would say to parliament if they were an MP. In a 90-second Member’s Statement video, students spoke about issues that matter most to them and to their community.
A huge congratulations to those who submitted passionate videos of their own Member Statement, for the annual Parliament Prize, with over 1018 entries from over 200 schools across the state being submitted.
A special congratulations to Zach Bugeja, Loki McAdam and Tyler Guilfoyle from Warringa Park School in Tarneit who have been awarded 1stplace in the Years 7 to 9 category for their statement on making our communities accessible for everyone, and to Syazwani Sufudin from Hoppers Crossing Secondary College, who has been awarded 1st place in the Years 10 to12 category with an entry on better bus transport in Victoria.
