Dylan Wight is the local Member of Parliament representing the dynamic and multicultural suburb of Tarneit, one of Victoria's fastest-growing areas. As a proud father of two, Dylan understands the importance of having a place to call home, where he can give his kids the best start to life.
Before his venture into parliament, Dylan spent eight years championing the rights of manufacturing workers in Melbourne's west as a dedicated union representative. This invaluable experience cemented his passion advocacy, collective strength, and hard work, principles he now brings to his role as a Member of Parliament.
Dylan's vision for Tarneit aligns with the vibrant and expansive growth of the suburb. The Tarneit community has seen some fantastic developments, including: the construction of two new schools, the introduction of a new train station which will improve access to the city and major upgrades to Werribee Mercy Hospital.
That’s only the beginning. There are plans for three additional schools, additional upgrades to local roads and transport, grants for community projects, and much more!
Dylan Wight's commitment to his community extends beyond policy. His passion and dedication are manifested in his efforts to ensure that Tarneit's growth continues to serve all residents.
